A video of a donation has surfaced in the Savadatti Yellamma temple located in Belagavi district of Karnataka. According to the information revealed, a record of ₹ 3.81 crore has been made in the temple. Along with this, devotees have also donated large quantities of gold jewelery and silver in the temple. What did the temple get in Danam?
In the Savadti Yellamma Temple located in Savdatti taluka in Belagavi district, ₹ 3.81 crore has been received in a period of three months from 1 April to 30 June 2025. This donation is a record, which is almost double the figures of the last two years. Let us tell you that the temple received a donation of Rs 1.65 crore in 2023 and Rs 1.96 crore during the same period in 2024.
According to the temple administration, donations are included:
- ₹ 3.39 crore cash
- Gold jewelery worth ₹ 32.94 lakhs
- 8.7 kg silver jewelery worth ₹ 9.79 lakh
Why increased temple revenue increased?
This remarkable increase in the revenue of Savadti Yellamma Temple has occurred due to various corrective initiatives and advanced facilities, causing more and more devotees coming to the temple of Pujya Shakti Devi in northern Karnataka. Temple Development Authority Secretary Ashok Dudagunti said that the collected funds will be dedicated to the development works of the temple and upgradation of the infrastructure.
