Malkangiri: A very disturbing and heartbreaking news has come out from Malkangiri district of Odisha. Here a minor girl was not only raped, but 4 people together gang -raped extremely cruelty. Even more shocking is that this inhuman work was done in two different places.
The entire case was revealed by Vinod Patil H, Superintendent of Police of Malkangiri on Tuesday. He said that initially it was being considered a rape case, but after a close investigation by the police, it was found that it was a case of gang rape.
Accused arrested within 6 hours
The SP of Malkangiri said, “Complaints of raping 363/25 and 364/25 were filed at Malkangiri Town police station. All the accused involved in the case have been arrested within 6 hours. There will be a professional investigation. Our effort will be that soon the charge sheet will be filed. A minor girl was raped by a truck driver at a deserted place about 10/15 km.
The victim went to attend Saheli’s birthday party
In fact, this horrific incident occurred on Sunday evening, when the minor girl went to attend a friend’s birthday party. While returning from the party, he was kidnapped by three people. After kidnapping, the accused took him to a deserted place about 10 to 15 km from the city of Malkangiri. Here, the three accused tortured the girl and raped her in turn. It was nothing short of a nightmare for that girl.
He also raped the truck driver to escape
Somehow to save her life, the minor girl managed to escape from that first place. But his troubles did not end here. Near the outskirts of Malkangiri city, he met a truck driver. The most shocking thing is that the truck driver also raped her. At the same time, with luck, some local people saw the minor girl in suspicious condition with the truck driver. His understanding and help saved the victim’s life. In this way, the minor girl faced separate and repeated inhuman torture and sexual harassment.
Police said- victim will get justice
The police immediately initiated action as soon as the information of this heinous crime was reported. After fast and intensive investigation, the police have arrested all the four accused involved in this disgusting crime. This incident has created heavy resentment in the public in the entire Odisha and especially Malkangiri. There is a demand from all sides to run quick hearing in this case and strict punishment for the accused. Officials have assured that the matter will be fully and thorough investigation and the victim will be given justice in any case.
