What Rahul Gandhi has written in the letter
In his letter to PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi said that he recently visited Poonch, where 14 people, including 4 children, died and dozens of people were injured in Pakistani shelling. In the letter, the Leader of Opposition said that Pakistani firing has caused damage in common areas. Hundreds of houses, shops, schools and religious places have been badly destroyed. Many victims said that their years of hard work was ruined in one stroke.
People from Poonch and other areas adjoining border have been living with peace and brotherhood for decades. Today, when they are going through this deep crisis, it is our duty to understand their sorrow and provide all possible help to rewrite their lives. I urge the Government of India to prepare a rehabilitation package for Poonch and all other areas affected by Pakistan’s shelling. Please tell that the Indian Army also gave a befitting reply to Pakistani firing.
Rahul Gandhi said this after being torn
While sharing a video of Poonch Yatra, Rahul Gandhi said on X, “Poonch’s pain can be felt only by going there. Broken house, scattered lives – This pain also echoes a single voice – we are Indians. Gandhi is one. Gandhi said in his post,” I am not requesting the X, but reminded the government, but the government is reminded of the government – a solid and rest of the regions and other areas are reminded of the government. Rehabilitation package should be prepared. This is not help, it is a duty.
