Amarnatha Yatra begins on July 3; Thousands of soldiers will remain deployed, what arrangements for security?

The Amarnath Yatra starts from July 3. This is the first journey after the Pahalgam terror attack, due to which strict security arrangements have been made this time. Indian Army, paramilitary forces, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Intelligence Agencies have named the security arrangements of Amarnath Yatra as ‘Operation Shiva’. Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) said that the Amarnath Yatra will be of 38 days, which will start from July 3 and will run till 9 August.
