Plastic bottle will be charged in Himachal Pradesh parks

Shimla. A large and unique decision has been taken to curb plastic waste in the Himachal Pradesh cabinet meeting. Now in a few selected parks of the state, if a person will carry a packet like plastic bottle or chips, then he will have to pay a fee. This amount will be returned only when it will throw the plastic used in the dustbin installed in the park. This arrangement will be started as a pilot project and can be applied to other places when successful later.

How much charge will have to be paid yet

Cabinet Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan said that how much the charge will take, it has not been decided yet. Collection centers will be set up in some special areas. He said that whatever charge is charged will be refundable. That is, the money will be returned when thrown in the dustbin on exit from the park.

Home guards will be deployed in private hospitals

The cabinet minister also informed that in other important decisions taken in the meeting, approval has been approved to fill 700 posts of Home Guards. Under this, home guard personnel will be deployed in government hospitals instead of private security agencies, which will not only provide better security but will also provide employment to the youth.

200 panchayat secretaries of Zilla Parishad Carder will be regular

The cabinet has also approved to regularize 200 panchayat secretaries of Zilla Parishad Carder, which has completed a two -year contract. Earlier their salary was 12 thousand rupees monthly, which has now been increased to 32 thousand rupees. Apart from this, it has also been decided to move the office of RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) to Dharamshala from Shimla and to prepare a new reservation roster for the elections of Panchayati Raj institutions.

Amendment in PG/SS Policy

The cabinet approved amendment to the Postgraduate/Expert Services (PG/SS) policy by withdrawing the mandatory requirement of one year field posting before eligibility for Senior Residency at Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), Shimla and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda. This decision has been taken in accordance with the policy adopted in AIIMS, Chamiana.
