Heavy rains in northeastern states: 32 killed in 2 days, 1,500 tourists stranded in Sikkim

Monsoon, who arrived in 4 states of Northeast India including Assam, Mizoram, has caused huge havoc. In these states, 32 people died due to floods and landslides in the last 2 days. 16 people have died in Assam, 9 in Arunachal, 4 in Mizoram and 3 in Meghalaya. Due to heavy rains, road connectivity has been lost in many places and rivers are flowing above the danger mark.
