FIR against more than 20 farmers who opposed Hemavathi Link Canal Works

Tumkur: The Hemavathi Express link, which drains Hemavathi water through Tumkur, has been strongly opposed to the Canal. Protesters were outraged by blocking the highway road yesterday in protest against the work. He had pelted stones at the police officers. Also, the tire on the roads was set on fire, crushed the pipes and caused heavy damage. FIR has been filed against more than 20 farmers.

If you take water through Hemavathi Link Canal and go to Magadi and Ramanagar, Tumkur will be unfair. This is an unscientific work. Protesters have demanded that all work be halted immediately. Gubbi police have lodged a FIR against more than 20 farmers in connection with the farmers’ protest yesterday in protest against the Hemavathi Linking X Press Works.
