Congress allegations- ‘Government is misleading the country’, demand for investigation of Operation Sindoor

Several party leaders including Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge have demanded an inquiry over Operation Sindoor. Along with this, he has accused the Government of India of misleading the country. Referring to the Chief of Defense Staff’s statement in Singapore, Kharge said that the Indian Air Force has suffered losses in the conflict with Pakistan. In such a situation, on the lines of the Kargil Committee, Operation Sindoor should be investigated through an independent committee. Rahul Gandhi has already questioned how many aircraft India had lost in a struggle with Pakistan. The government should inform about this.

Chief of Defense Staff Anil Chauhan said in Singapore that India learned from its mistakes and the Indian Army was able to attack 300 km inside Pakistan’s border.

What did Mallikarjun Kharge write?

On the social media platform X, Kharge wrote that after the interview of the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) in Singapore, some important questions have come up, which need to be asked. Therefore, the government should immediately call a special session of Parliament. He alleged that the Modi government is misleading the country and PM Modi is taking credit for the bravery of the army. Along with this, he also talked about bringing out the reality of Donald Trump’s claims. Kharge wrote that he respects the bravery and valor of the Indian Army, but investigation is necessary in this matter. 140 crore patriots have the right to know the truth.

1. A fair committee should be formed on the lines of Kargil to examine Operation Sindoor. This will be clear how ready the army was for the operation. How much damage was done during this time.

2. US President Donald Trump has reiterated his claim of ceasefire. This is a direct insult to the Shimla Agreement. The inquiry committee will also bring its reality to everyone.

TMC leader also demanded special session

Pakistan could not give evidence of dropping aircraft
