Bangalore: The Royal Challengers Bangalore Team Trophy won the excitement everywhere. Passengers have been traveling on the metro at a record level to witness the RCB triumph at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium of Silicon City. Though there were cricket matches at the stadium before, people were not running at this level. But more than 9 lakh people have traveled on the metro when they know that the RCB Trophy win and come to the Chinnaswamy Ground.
The number of passengers in the Bangalore Metro has been significantly increased by nearly three times. 4,78,334 passengers and 2,84,674 passengers traveled in the Metro Route 1. A total of 9,66,732 passengers traveled on the metro The Bangalore Railway Corporation Limited (BMRCL) said.
BMRCL has reported that 2,03,724 people have traveled at Kempegowda (KGWA) Interchange Station.
Amidst the excitement of winning the Royal Challengers Bangalore Team Trophy Fans gathered at the stadium at Sagarapadi for a triumph at Chinnaswamy Stadium. 11 fans have died due to the lack of space to walk.
