Srinagar/Leh: The passing out parade of Agnivir jawans was organized on Thursday at the JKLI Regiment Center in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Scouts Regimental Center in Leh. In these parades, in total, 520 Agniveer jawans took an oath to become part of the Indian Army by completing their seven months of hard training. The ceremony was held in accordance with the glorious traditions of the Indian Army, which included military and civil dignitaries as well as families of soldiers. Ladakh Scouts Regimental Center, Leh
A passing out parade of 194 Agnivir jawans was held at Ladakh Scouts Regimental Center. The ceremony was reviewed by Major General Gurpal Singh. The review officer congratulated the soldiers for their outstanding parade and called upon them to be dedicated to the service of the country. He appreciated the extraordinary valor and contribution of Ladakh Scouts soldiers. During this period, the soldiers were awarded medals for outstanding performance in training. In addition, Gaurav medal was given to the parents whose children joined the regiment as Agniveer and who have served or served in the army themselves.
Jekelite Regiment Center, Budgam
326 Agniveer jawans of the fifth batch were passed out parade at the Jerkelight Regiment Center in Budgam, located in Kashmir, Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir. These soldiers were elected especially from various districts of Jammu and Kashmir, especially terrorism affected areas. After 7 months of hard training, these soldiers took an oath to die to protect the country. The training included the use of arms, martial arts, and special training of hand-to-hand combat, especially designed for anti-terrorism operations. In the last 30 years, this center has trained over 16,000 soldiers, deployed to protect the country.
