Relief from scorching heat, rain with strong winds in Delhi-NCR

The people of Delhi-NCR have been relieved from the scorching heat. After midnight, Delhi-NCR received heavy rain with strong winds. Many areas including Shastri Bhawan, Karnat Place, Outer Circle in Delhi have received rain. Trees were also uprooted in many areas due to strong wind. However, it is a matter of relief that there is no news of any untoward incident from anywhere. Rain is also expected in many other states of the country.

Rain is estimated in these states of the country

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms in Jammu and Kashmir-Ladakh-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana Chandigarh and Delhi, western Uttar Pradesh during June 13 to 19 June. During this time, strong winds are likely to blow at a speed of 40-50 kmph with lightning shining.

Now expectation of heatstroke

The Meteorological Department said that rains are expected in Rajasthan on 14 to 19 June, Rajasthan on 18 and 19 June. The IMD said that the situation in the northwest India and Himalayan region is expected to be less than Saturday.

Monsoon is active in many states

Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon remains active in the southern peninsula. Due to which heavy rains are expected to continue for the next five to six days. IMD has also projected strong rains in Eastern and Northeast India, especially the Northeast states in the next two days.
