Large accident in Himachal: Bus falls in deep ditch amid heavy rains, 2 killed, 24 injured

In Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, a private bus fell into a ditch amid heavy rains. Two passengers were killed and more than 24 passengers were injured in this tragic accident on Tuesday morning near Patrighat on Mandi-Jahu road. The accident happened when the bus was going from Jahu to Mandi. Local people and officials started rescue operations, but due to heavy rains, it is being interrupted.

Bus fell into a ditch 500 feet deep

A private bus going from Jahu to Mandi route fell into a ditch 500 feet deep below the road in Patdighat. The bus had about 25–30 passengers during the incident. About 24 of these passengers are said to be injured. In this accident, two people were buried inside the bus and below, who died. The legs of the person trapped inside the bus are broken and were taken out after hard work.
