Cases of technical fault in Air India aircraft are continuously coming up. An Air India flight going from Hyderabad to Mumbai in the latest case was stopped on Friday due to technical fault and was later canceled. There were 92 passengers in this aircraft. Sources said that technical fault was detected in the aircraft, after which the passengers were removed from the aircraft. The passengers were then sent by another Air India aircraft.
Delhi-Pune flight also canceled
Earlier on Friday, the flight of Delhi-Pune was canceled after the bird collided on the aircraft on reaching Pune. The aircraft was stopped for examination. Earlier many other aircraft have been canceled due to technical reasons.
Air India canceled 8 more flights
Air India on Friday canceled eight other flights citing operating reasons. Four of which were going abroad. The step is taken in the booking between a decline of about 20%. Tata -owned Air India said it has arranged for accommodation for affected passengers and is offering refunds or other flights for canceled flights.
Why is Air India booked
Experts in the travel industry have stated the reason for the aircraft accident in Ahmedabad last week. The accident belonged to Air India flight AI-171, which was the Airbus A320-200 to London, crashed shortly after flying from Ahmedabad on 12 June. The aircraft carrying 242 passengers and crews crashed in the Medical College campus, in which all were killed except a passenger.
