The National Center for Sisamology (NCS) reported that an earthquake of 5.4 magnitude occurred in the Andaman Sea on Wednesday morning at seven to three minutes. Earlier, an earthquake of 4.2 magnitude occurred at 1.43 pm. According to the USGS, this earthquake occurred in Port Blair, which was 270 km in depth.

Earthquake came in the morning

Earlier on Wednesday, the NCS said in a post on X, “The earthquake 01:43:50 occurred at the Indian time, while its center was about 20 kilometers from the sea surface.” There is no immediate report of the earthquake at the moment of casualties or damage to the property.

Earthquake occurred three times in 24 hours

Earthquake tremors were felt three times from Tuesday to Wednesday morning in the Andaman Sea. According to the National Center for Sisamology, for the first time on Tuesday afternoon, there was an earthquake of 5.2 magnitude at 3:47 am, the second time the second earthquake struck at 1:43 pm on Wednesday morning and then the third time an earthquake occurred for the third time at 7.3 am, which was measured 5.4 for the third time at 7.3 am. In this way, earthquake tremors are constantly being felt in the island part of the Andaman Sea.

No information has been reported from the earthquake at present.
