The government, which has given good news to artists, increases massage

For many years, the government has been forced to increase the massage of artists. Now the government has released the grants to increase the massage of artists. Previously, the artist’s massage was Rs 2000, which was raised and 2500, for which Rs 32.94 crore was released by the Department of Kannada and Culture.

Speaking at a program of Drama Academy last year, CM Siddaramaiah had promised to increase the artist’s massage from two thousand to three thousand. But Rs 2500 has been increased. The demand for the association was to pay Rs. Only 500 rupees have been increased.

As of last year’s calculation, 12,543 artists over 60 years of age were getting two thousand rupees every month across the state. No more, they will get Rs 2500. Last year, the Department of Kannada and Culture said that it would identify the artists in the villages and give them massage.

Since 2023, there have been meetings, approvals, and demands for the increase in this massage. The process was even more intense after Siddaramaiah announced last year. The Minister of Kannada and Culture, Shivaraja Thangadagi, also promised this. Finally, the department has released the grant for the increase in massage.
