Some parts of Himachal Pradesh have received light to moderate rainfall and the local meteorological office has issued a ‘yellow alert’ of heavy rains at different places in the state till 10 July.

• There is a possibility of rain in Uttarakhand, Eastern Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana from 8 to 13 July.

• Nainital, Champawat, Bageshwar and Dehradun in Uttarakhand have an orange alert of heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places.

• Heavy rains may occur at different places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from 8 to 13 July. Today, there is a possibility of very heavy rains in Meghalaya.
