The monsoon session of Parliament starts on Monday, which will run till August 21. Before that the government called an all -party meeting today. There will be a total of 21 meetings in this monsoon session. However, the proceedings of the House will be postponed due to Independence Day celebrations between August 12 and August 18. In this session, the government will discuss 7 pending bills and is preparing to introduce 8 new bills.
BJP national president JP Nadda, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, Harsimrat Kaur from Shiromani Akali Dal, Arjun Ram Meghwal of BJP, Gaurav Gagoi from Congress, AIADMK from Shiromani Akali Dal have reached Thambi Durai. At the same time, Supriya Sule from NCP-SP, Srikanth Shinde from Shiv Sena, TR Baloo from DMK, Premchandra Gupta from RJD, Sanjay Jha from JDU, Professor Ram Gopal Yadav from Samajwadi Party, Pramod Tiwari from Congress and K.K. Suresh has reached the meeting. Apart from this, many leaders including Chandrashekhar Azad, Anupriya Patel, Ramdas Athawale, Tiruchi Shiva have reached the all -party meeting.
