The Udaipur Files Cinema Controversy has come back to the High Court yard from the Supreme Court. The film is based on the assassination of Tyler Kanhaiya Lal in 2022 and the trailer of the cinema is already released. Maulana Arshad Madani and others have filed a petition not to allow the release of the film, alleging that there is a communal aspect in the cinema. The Supreme Court has been hearing for the past 12 days and is now back in the case.
Kapil Sibal, who argued on behalf of the petitioners, said the cinema has a communal aspect. He argued that those who follow Islam and religion were portrayed as criminals. Some scenes and conversations in the trailer were witnessed to the argument. However, the lawyer who argued for the film argued that the film was only about the assassination of Kanhaiya Lal. Also, ‘Kashmir Files’ argued that there were no riots in the society from the Kerala stories, arguing that the film would be the cause of the riots.
The Supreme Court has advised the central government to comment on the release of cinema. Accordingly, the Center’s Mahisi and Broadcasting account said, “Six cuts can be released and released.” The Supreme Court today announced that the release of cinema cannot be blocked. However, the next hearing of the case will be decided in the Delhi High Court. The issue was heard on Monday and the case would be settled.
