A major change has been made in the rule of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has made this change with the approval of the President. Let us tell you that after this amendment, now the registry and office of the Supreme Court will also be open on Saturday. Let us tell you that earlier the registry office of the Supreme Court was closed on Saturday, but now after this amendment, every Saturday will be open from 10 am to 1 pm. Important amendment in Supreme Court rules
The notice issued by the SC has been told about the important amendment made. According to the notice, under Article 145 of the Constitution, the Supreme Court has amended Rules 1,2 and 3 of the Supreme Court Rules 2013 of 2013. After this amendment, now the registry and office of the Supreme Court will be open every Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. This change will be seen from next month i.e. from July 14, 2025, this rule will be applicable.
