Bangalore: Former cricketer and environmental lover Anil Kumble met for forest minister Ishwar Khandre in Bangalore today. Anil Kumble thanked Ishwar Khandre for his appointment as ambassador to the Forest and Wildlife Department.
Forest Minister Ishwar Khandre has shared this. Kumble, who has great care and commitment to wildlife and forests, has agreed to serve as a forest and wildlife ambassador without any remuneration. The Minister applauded that this was a clear reflection of their environmental loyalty and social commitment.
He was instrumental in the victories of the Indian cricket team, he said. He is now confident that he is now in the hearts of cricket lovers, taking 619 wickets in 110 Tests and 337 in 264 ODIs. He was formerly the vice -president of the Karnataka Wildlife Board. Ishwar Khandre wrote that he is confident that he is now the ambassador to our department and for forest conservation.
