Another accident with Kedarnath pilgrims, debris from a mountain fell on a walking route, 2 killed

Rudraprayag: A big accident has happened again in Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand. On Wednesday, two persons were killed and three others were injured, including a woman, due to landslides near the Jungle Barsati drain on the walking road leading to Kedarnath temple. Let us know that two days ago, one person died on the Kedarnath walk route due to heavy rains.

Pilgrims fell into the ditch

According to information received from the Superintendent of Police Office of Rudraprayag, people who have been victims of landslide at around 11 am have been taken for treatment. According to the information, due to debris and stone from the hill near the rainy drain, some passengers and palanquin operators passing through this area fell into the ditch. On receiving the information, the police and district disaster management force teams reached the spot and brought out the people who fell into the ditch and brought them up. One of the injured has suffered minor injuries while two men have been seriously injured who have been sent to Gaurikund for treatment.

Appeal to vigilance from devotees

People who have been victims of the accident are being identified. Meanwhile, passengers are being moved in the presence of police. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain in the coming days, in such a situation, the administration has appealed to the devotees who have gone on the journey to be vigilant.
