A bird collided with an Air India aircraft going from Delhi to Pune on Friday. Because of this, the airline had to cancel the return journey of this flight. The important thing was that when the bird collided with the plane on the way, the pilot did not even know about it. However, this was revealed in the investigation after the landing. The flight of the aircraft was then canceled. The airline said in a statement that the aircraft landed safely and the bird collided after landing in Pune. Air India said the plane has been stopped and the engineering team is investigating it thoroughly.

Air India said, “Flight AI-2470, flying from Pune to Delhi on 20 June, has been canceled due to a bird colliding, which was detected after the flight was safely landed in Pune.”

Passengers have the option to book tickets again

The airline also said that it is making all arrangements including providing housing for the trapped passengers. The airline said that passengers will have the option to cancel the tickets or re -book. If a passenger does not want to travel anymore, then refund is also being offered for him. Along with this, alternative arrangements are being made to take passengers to Delhi.

Air India’s 8 flight canceled

On June 12, Air India aircraft fell victim to the accident. The aircraft had 242 people riding and 241 were killed. Many people were present in the building with which the aircraft collided with and it is feared that the number of people who lost their lives in the accident may cross 300. The aircraft left for London from Ahmedabad, a few seconds after taking off, fell victim to the accident. So far the reason for the accident of the aircraft has not been revealed. Air India has started investigating all its aircraft since the incident. For this reason, eight flights of Air India were canceled on Friday (June 20).
