BMTC bus collided with Metro Pillar – Btv Kannada

Bangalore: More than 10 passengers were injured when a BMTC bus collided with a Metro Pillar (No. 607).

The incident took place at around 9 pm on Friday night near Milasandra on the Bangalore-Mysore road, injuring more than 10 passengers, including a bus driver and a conductor. Fortunately no casualties were reported in the incident.

The BMTC bus was traveling from KR Market to Bidi. About 50 passengers were on the bus. It is learned that the bus steering rod of the bus was collided with a motor pillar.

The front of the bus is completely smashed for the collision. After the incident, all passengers got down from the bus. Traffic police have checked the spot and inspected the site. The accident caused traffic congestion on the Bangalore-Mysore road for some time. The police then cleared the bus and allowed traffic. A case has been registered at the Kengeri Traffic Police Station
