On Thursday, a bus from Kasargod to Mangaluru in Talki bordering Karnataka-Kerala border collided with a bus stand and an auto-rickshaw due to a brake failure, killing six people, including four members of the same family, and seven injured. Treatment of injured continues

Bus overturned in Belagavi
In another case, two passengers died on the spot due to a private bus overturned in Belagavi district of Karnataka late Wednesday, while many others suffered minor injuries. The police gave this information on Thursday. According to the police, the accident took place in the National Highway Ghat area near Badkolamath near Belgavi, when a private bus going from Hubbali to Pune overturned due to negligence of the driver. There were a total of 12 passengers in the bus. A woman and a man lost their lives in the accident. After the accident, the police, with the help of local people, took out the injured and admitted them to the government hospital in Belagavi. An FIR is being investigated by registering an FIR at Hirbegwadi police station.
