Chikkaballapur: A young man who went to fish ..!

Chikkaballapur: The incident took place in the North Pinakini River in Kalludi village of Gauribidanur taluk in the district.

The Nagappa Colony of Gauribidanur has been identified as Michelle Johnson of the Christian city. A young man who had gone to the North Pinakini River to catch fish this afternoon was washed away. But there is a fear of drowning in the water without swimming.

Firefighters visited the site and searched for the corpse in the river water. A case has been registered at the Gauribidanur city police station.
