Darshan’s bail decision on July 17 in the Supreme Court

Karnataka High Court in December 2024 Bail (Bail) Had given. However, the state government appealed to the Supreme Court challenging it. The state government has sought the cancellation of the bail of seven accused, including Darshan. The hearing will be held on July 17.

Darshan and other accused were arrested after Renukaswami’s body was found in June 2024. He was later remanded to judicial custody in Parappana Agrahara. He was sent to Bellary Central Prison for violating the rules. Darshan was granted bail in December 2024.

The state government has questioned the bail given to him because Darshan is an influential person and he is likely to influence the witnesses. An appeal has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking bail to be canceled. The future of Darshan and other accused will be decided on what order the Supreme Court will give.
