Deepak Hooda, who reached Haridwar from Haryana, slipped his leg while taking a dip in the Ganges at the Shiv Ghat, which suddenly started drowning in deep water. Seeing the drowning of Deepak, people made a noise with him, while the 40th Corps PAC personnel posted at the ghat and NDRF rescued them through a raft boat.
