Dehradun: Rohit Negi, a local BJP leader in Premnagar region, was allegedly shot dead, is said to be murder in a love affair. Police said the incident took place at Peepal Chowk in Manduwala after Monday’s midnight. Negi was returning home with some of his friends that Azhar Tyagi, a person from Muzaffarnagar, UP, allegedly shot her car. Azhar Tyagi came from a motorcycle and he shot directly on Negi’s neck. According to the police, Negi’s friends immediately took him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Controversy was going on with a female friend

According to the information received, Rohit Negi, a resident of Selakui area of ​​the capital Dehradun, used to do property dealing, whose friend had friendship with a young woman from the Muslim community, due to which they both lived together. But this thing was not liked by Azhar Malik, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, just about this, Rohit and Azhar’s mutual rivalry started.

Police has started searching for Azhar

The deceased BJP leader Rohit Negi, who was 22 years old, was called by criminals on an excuse and shot. It is being told that a woman from a Muslim community was a friend of Rohit Negi’s friend. There was a rivalry between the two sides about this, this rivalry became the reason for the murder of Rohit Negi. SP City Pramod Shah said that CCTV footage is being checked after the incident. Four teams have been formed to catch the miscreants. The young man Azhar who has shot is said to be a resident of Muzaffarnagar.

On the tahrir of Negi’s friend Abhishek Bartwal, the police have started searching for Tyagi by registering a case of murder under Section 103 (1), 3 (5) of the Indian Justice Code. All possible aspects of the incident are being investigated by the police.
