‘Udaipur Files’ (UDAIPUR Files) cinema, which joins the ‘Kashmir Files’, ‘The Kerala Files’, was to be released today (July 11). But the Delhi High Court has blocked the release of cinema. The Supreme Court also applied for the release of the film, but the Supreme Court said that the petition was a speedy hearing. However, the Delhi High Court has blocked the release of cinema.
‘Udaipur Files’ is a story about the murder of Tyler Kalhaiya Lal in 2022. There have been arguments in the Delhi High Court for about five hours on Thursday, with Justice DK Upadhyaya, who has finally blocked the release of the film, said the central decision should be taken.
The court said that the film’s producers had condemned the CBFC, cut scenes and released the trailer and teaser of the film on YouTube without any certificates.

Senior advocate Kalil Sibal, who argued on behalf of the complainant, said, ‘In the trailer of cinema, Muslim persons have shown a piece of meat to the temple. Muslim students have been shown to be arrested by the police. How is the Kanhaiya Lal murder case related to the case? A community is called ‘that people’ in the cinema. If you want to see the cinema, make a decision, this cinema contains the most hateful aspects. This is certainly not good for the country and it is certainly not art. ”
Advocates on behalf of the producers said: Many muteds have also been made. Also, cinema is only related to the murder of Kanhaiya Lal. But some of the scenes of the cinema are being argued, and it is a violation of freedom of expression.
Speaking after the blockade of cinema, Kanhaiya Lal’s son said, “It has been three years as his father’s murder. Video witnesses have been available but so far they have not been punished.
