DRDO successfully tested a drone missile

India is constantly moving towards self -sufficiency in terms of its defense. Air defense systems, missiles etc. are being constructed in the country one continuously. The mission to make India self -sufficient in the matter of defense is led by Defense Research and Development Organization ie DRDO. Now DRDO has achieved another shocking success. The DRDO has completed a successful test of a drone missile.

Which missile was tested?

India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has given information about this successful test conducted by DRDO. He tweeted on his X account and said- “India’s defense capabilities, DRDO successfully tested the exact firepower (Principal Guide) missile ULPGM-V3 in the National Open Area Range (NOAR) in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.”

Rajnath Singh said a big thing

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh further said in his tweet-“Congratulations to DRDO and industry partners, defense production companies, MSMEs and Start-ups for the development and successful tests of the ULPGM-V3 system. It proves that Indian industry is now ready to adopt and produce important defense technology.”

Other DRDO projects

DRDO chief Dr. Sameer V. Kamat recently informed that India is working on an air defense ‘Project Kusha’ equivalent to S-500. Apart from this, work is also being done on Expended Trajectory-Long Duration Hypersonic Cruise Missile under Project Vishnu. Several projects like BrahMos’s Extended Range, Astra Mark-2, Astra Mark-3, Rudram, Pinaka Rocket Launcher’s and deadly variants are also being worked on.
