The Ministry of Defense has approved the defense purchase of about 2 thousand crores to empower the Indian border. Its aim is to strengthen the army in Jammu and Kashmir and prepare to deal with the danger that comes together. CQB Carbine will soon be seen in the hands of Indian soldiers
ARDE Lab Director A. Raju of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), A Raju, in a special interview to India TV, told how the army is being empowered with self -sufficiency through weapons. A total of 450 are being purchased by the Indian Army. Solar Defense and Aerospace Limited, a subsidiary of Solar Industries India Limited, has received this major order from the Government of India. The company has signed a contract on 22 June 2025 to supply defense products with the Ministry of Defense, Government of India. Research and Development Head Rahul Dixit at Solar Defense and Aerospace Limited said that the coming time is strategically different modern warfare, so the army is being further strengthened. About 120 numbers of switch drones are being purchased which will be prepared at a cost of 137 crores.
Giving more information about this, Rahul Dixit said, “Yesterday, we have received an order from the indigenous ‘Lietering Municipality’ (weapon of attack) Nagastra-1R from the Indian Army. Under this, we have to make 450 loatering monuments. He said that in the range of Lietering Municipality Nagastra 1, Soller Defense has done a lot of work and has great results. A consignment with good specifications has already been given to the Indian Army with good specifications by testing it well in all places. Its range is about 5 km and it can carry 1 kg of payload.

The camera installed in it is capable of surveying up to 360 degrees. Nagastra-1 has a 360 degree zimbal camera, so that it can keep an eye on every direction. The enemy can be monitored at night or even in low light. It is cheaper and more reliable than foreign weapons, which can prove to be a game changer.
