From CQB Carbine to Nagastra-1 R, Indian Army is buying modern weapons

The Ministry of Defense has approved the defense purchase of about 2 thousand crores to empower the Indian border. Its aim is to strengthen the army in Jammu and Kashmir and prepare to deal with the danger that comes together. Explain that this step has been taken at a time when the Government of India has given top priority to army operational preparations in Jammu and Kashmir to deal with Pakistan-backed terrorism.

A total of 13 contracts worth Rs 1981 crore have been done under this defense procurement. In which modern weapons will be purchased for the army.

All these weapons are included-

1. Integrated Drone Detection and International System (IDDIS)

2. Low level light weight radar (LLR)
3. A very low range air defense system (vshorads) such as launchers and missiles
4. Remotley Pylated Ariel Vehicle (RPAVS)
5. Loitoring monsion, which includes vertical take-offs and landing (VTOL) system
6. Many types of drones
7. Bullet Proof Jacket (BPJS)
8. Ballistic helmet
9. Quick Reaction Fighting Vehicle (QRFVS) of heavy and medium range
10. Night vision for rifles

CQB Carbine will soon be seen in the hands of Indian soldiers

ARDE Lab Director A. Raju of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), A Raju, in a special interview to India TV, told how the army is being empowered with self -sufficiency through weapons. Giving information about weapons to bills, he said that the Indian Army will get more than 4,25,000 CKubbine. It will prepare it DRDO and Bharat Forge Limited.

He reported that 5.56×45 mm CKUBBine has been designed and developed by DRDO’s Ordnance Research and Development Foundation (ARDE). Also, Bharat Forge Limited has created. DRDO and Bharat Forge Limited have been selected as the lowest bidding company (L1) in the Tender of the Army.

CQB Carbine Strength-

• CQB Carbine features that it is capable of giving accurate response in light, nearest encounters.
• Soldiers can easily use it due to light and fast. This will make it easier for the army to carry bullets.
• Its design has optics, laser designers and accessories installed.
• This new carbine will replace decades old 9mm sterling carbine.
• Its biggest feature is that it targets very accurately.
• It runs in two ways- one tablet or continuous pills can also fire at a time.
• When the bullet runs, the weapon does not move much, so that the target is absolutely right.
• It can target an accurate target up to 100–150 meters, which is enough for the fighting in cities or forests.

Rahul Dixit revealed the merits of Nagastra-1 R

At the same time, let us tell you that to give a strong answer to the enemy on every front, the army has ordered to buy a drone named Nagastra-1 (Nagastra-1R). A total of 450 are being purchased by the Indian Army. Solar Defense and Aerospace Limited, a subsidiary of Solar Industries India Limited, has received this major order from the Government of India. The company has signed a contract on 22 June 2025 to supply defense products with the Ministry of Defense, Government of India. Research and Development Head Rahul Dixit at Solar Defense and Aerospace Limited said that the coming time is strategically different modern warfare, so the army is being further strengthened. About 120 numbers of switch drones are being purchased which will be prepared at a cost of 137 crores.

Giving more information about this, Rahul Dixit said, “Yesterday, we have received an order from the indigenous ‘Lietering Municipality’ (weapon of attack) Nagastra-1R from the Indian Army. Under this, we have to make 450 loatering monuments. He said that in the range of Lietering Municipality Nagastra 1, Soller Defense has done a lot of work and has great results. A consignment with good specifications has already been given to the Indian Army with good specifications by testing it well in all places. Its range is about 5 km and it can carry 1 kg of payload.

Dixit said that its total weight is about 10 kg. If it does not get a target, then it is also able to come back and land parachute. After reaching the enemy’s territory, it hovers in the air over the target and can eliminate the enemy by hitting an accurate target as soon as it gets a chance. If the attack is to be canceled, it can be called back i.e. it can be used again.

Able to monitor the enemy even at night

The camera installed in it is capable of surveying up to 360 degrees. Nagastra-1 has a 360 degree zimbal camera, so that it can keep an eye on every direction. The enemy can be monitored at night or even in low light. It is cheaper and more reliable than foreign weapons, which can prove to be a game changer.
