Bangalore: Tushar Girinath, Additional Chief Secretary of the Urban Development Department, has hinted that the BBMP is likely to be shut down to ‘B Khata’ for sites that are not approved or not approved by the Planning Authority. Instead of giving B Khata, collect development fees ‘A Khata’ He said the proposal on the issue is under review. If this is implemented, the property owners of Bangalore will be sweet.
He said the Karnataka government has proposed to collect 5 per cent of their guidance value and 15 per cent of their Guidance Value from small sites to build parks.
There is a proposal to stop giving B Khata. Tushar Girinath said he was working to consider the proposal to simplify the process of obtaining building plan approval.
An average of 10,000 building plans sanctioned applications are submitted each year. These assets are covered with more than 60 B account. This is due to the lack of BDA layouts in many parts of the city.
Currently, the BBMP is classified as B Khata for buildings, layouts or revenue houses built in violation of property rules. B Khata is provided if there is a lack of building bylaws of the building during construction, construction of revenue land, construction of construction, completion or distribution certificates in unauthorized areas. However, such property was allowed to be converted to A account by paying fines in accordance with specific rules.
According to the new proposal now, the first property certificate is issued directly to the B Khata. That is, the development fee is to be collected from the beginning. If this is implemented, the property owner will benefit.
