Government decision to increase work duration in Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati: The TDP -led government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to increase the maximum work period of the day by one hour to attract investors.

The current working period is 9 hours a day, which will be increased by 10 hours a day. Information and Public Relations Minister K Parthasarathy said the amendment to the labor laws would be amended to make the new system into investors and labor friendly.

Investors will face the state with such amendments. The new rules will also be labor -friendly and will facilitate an increase in investment. These amendments are being brought in accordance with global rules. Under Section 55, 1 hour resting between 5 hours of work, which will be given for 6 hours. The 75 -hour additional period of work (OT) limit has now been increased at 144 pm. Parthasarathy informed that women were allowed to work at night.

However, CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna has criticized the NDA governments that are in power in the state and in the state.
