Ayodhya: Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, said that the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya will be completed by October 2025. After this, devotees will be able to visit all the 16 temples built in the temple complex. Currently, the idols have been respected in all the temples, but the construction work is still going on. The temple’s flag will also be hoisted at the main peak of the Ram temple in October. The construction work of Ram temple’s Parkote is going on fast these days. Parkota is being made 14 feet wide and 732 meters long.
Beautiful carvings have been done in Parkote
Like the Ram temple, this park, built with Pink Sandstone, has beautiful carvings, which will have darshan of the pastimes of Lord Rama’s life. The idols have died on 5 June 2025 in 6 temples, Shivalinga, Sun God, Ganapati, Hanuman, Maa Bhagwati and Annapurna built in Parkote. The peaks of all these temples have also been built. Apart from this, seven temples of Sapta Rishis and Seshavatar Temple have also been respected in the campus. Champat Rai said that devotees will have to wait for darshan in these temples.
Ram Darbar is punished on the first floor
Currently 80,000 to 1 lakh devotees are visiting Lord Rama in the sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor of the Ram temple, where God is seated in the form of Bal. On the first floor, the Ram Darbar has decorated, where Raja Rama, Maa Sita, Bharata, Shatrughan, Lakshman and Hanuman are seated. All these idols are carved with the white marble of Makrana. The idol of Lord Rama and Sita is made of a single stone. The idol of Lord Rama in the Ram Darbar is four and a half feet high in the posture of blessings, which sits on a throne of four and a half feet. Bharata and Hanuman Das are near the feet in the house, while Laxman and Shatrughna are standing behind.
Lift will be installed for the convenience of the elderly
Devotees have to climb 40 stairs to see Ram Darbar. These stairs made of marble are still going on. According to the trust, only about 1,000 people will be able to visit Ram Darbar a day. For the convenience of the elderly, the work of lift is yet to be done. The 5 peaks of the Ram temple are increasing its grandeur. About 45 kg of gold has been used on the doors of the peak and ground floor, which costs around Rs 50 crore.
‘All work will be completed in the next one year’
Champat Rai said that by October the main construction of the Ram temple will be completed, but four gates are to be built around the premises. A gate is formed, one is under construction, and two gates are yet to be built. Trust’s office, rest house, and auditorium are also under construction. Construction of the wall around the campus has not started yet. Rai said that all these works will be completed in the next one year.
