A heartbreaking incident has been seen in Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. Many laborers were washed away due to the strong current in the hydral project here. However, 2 bodies have been recovered so far. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has issued a statement about this. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu wrote on X, “The information about the flow of many laborers due to the strong flow in a hydral project in Dharamshala is extremely sad and painful. So far two bodies have been recovered in this incident and relief and rescue work is going on on war footing. The administration has been instructed to take all the necessary steps.”
CM Sukhu expressed condolences
CM Sukhu further wrote, “I express my deepest condolences to mourned families. I pray to God that the missing people will soon meet safely. I urge everyone to avoid going near river-drains and ravines amid heavy rains.” Apart from this, Kangra’s DC Hemraj Bairwa said, “We have recovered two bodies. SDRF, police, SDM and district administration teams are on the spot. We are counting people to find out the number of missing people. We are counting people. More information is awaited. The situation is not as serious as it is being told.”
