Meteorological Department released alert in many states of the country, there will be strong rain in these states

The effect of different states of the country is being seen. On one hand, many states are receiving continuous rains. At the same time, there is rain in Delhi NCR. Rivers are also in spate due to continuous rains. Meanwhile, monsoon is also wreaking havoc in many states of the country. The Meteorological Department has issued rain alert in many states today. The department has issued an orange alert for Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow alert in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and NCR, while Asamami Aaphat will be seen in Gujarat, Western Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Bengal. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain here.

Heavy rains and flood havoc in West Bengal

The situation remains serious due to floods in West Medinipur in West Bengal. About 2 lakh people are affected by the floods in the district. Hundreds of acres of fields are submerged. Rivers are in spate due to continuous rains and many areas are submerged in water. Due to continuous rains in Bihar, many rivers including Falgu River, Muhne River are flowing above Danger level, due to which flood water has entered many villages of Bodh Gaya. Hundreds of houses are drowned in water and villagers are forced to take shelter in safe places. However, as soon as the district administration got its information, the SDRF reached the spot started the rescue.

Rivers on boom in Uttar Pradesh

Along with Bihar, rivers are in spate in Uttar Pradesh. Due to flooding in Ganga-Yamuna in Prayagraj, more than 15 neighborhoods have been submerged around the rivers. The population of 5 lakhs is affected due to floods and the city’s largest cremation Daraganj has also drowned. The water level of the Ganges river has reached a dangerous level, in view of which a warning has been issued from the people not to go to the river. At the same time, the river Ganges is also in spate in Varanasi. All the ghats of Varanasi have been submerged in water, in view of which the operation of boats has been banned and there has been a ban on photographs, taking selfies.

The Meteorological Department has issued rain an orange alert for Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Punjab. Also, there are chances of rain in Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Western Rajasthan, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.
