According to the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms are expected to be sprinkled with thunderstorms in many places in Delhi and National Capital Region, light to moderate rainfall, lightning shine and strong winds at speeds of 40 to 70 kmph. ‘Orange alert’ indicates that the weather may deteriorate, so people should maintain vigilance.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi on Thursday was 39.1 degrees Celsius, which is 1.3 degrees below normal. According to him, the minimum temperature was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius, which is 2.4 degrees above normal temperature. The relative humidity in the city was between 63 and 49 percent. In the forecast, there is also talk of rain with strong winds at a speed of 50-60 kmph.

Meanwhile, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) was 173 in the evening which falls in the ‘medium’ category. According to CPCB, AQI between zero to 50 is considered ‘good’, ‘satisfactory’ between 51 and 100, ‘medium’ between 101 and 200, ‘bad’ between 201 and 300, ‘very bad’ between 301 and 400 is considered ‘very bad’ and ‘severe’ between 401 and 500.

He informed that the districts affected include more than 60 districts including Banda, Fatehpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar.
