Mock drill of situations like ‘Operation Shield’, air strike, explosion in states adjacent to Pakistan

Mock drills are being done under ‘Operation Shield’ in states bordering Pakistan.

During this period, mock drills of possible landscapes of emergency conditions were done in Punjab, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Chandigarh and Gujarat.

Local Administration, Police, National Cadet Corps (NCC), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Fire Department and Health Department participated in them.

Earlier this practice was to be held on 29 May, which was postponed for administrative reasons.
