Monsoon entry in Delhi, warning of heavy rain in Himachal; Read IMD alert

The monsoon in Delhi can knock today i.e. Tuesday, a few days before its normal arrival. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a ‘yellow alert’ of thunderstorms for the whole day today. The weather forecasting agency ‘Skymet’ said that the monsoon in Delhi could knock on Tuesday. It said on X, “Monsoon is likely to arrive in Delhi by June 24. Humidity, Eastern winds and mercury are expected to fall. Light rains may occur today, after that there is a forecast of heavy rains on tomorrow and some other days of the week.”

Meanwhile, there has been good news for the rest of the states. IMD has said that weather conditions are favorable for moving the monsoon in most parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi. Let us know how the weather will be in which state today.

How will the weather be in Rajasthan?

Due to the impact of the southwest monsoon, rainy season continues in many areas of Rajasthan. All the major rivers of the state are in spate. According to the IMD, there may be heavy or extreme rains in Kota, Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions today. Some parts of Bikaner division of western Rajasthan are expected to increase thunderstorms and rain activities during June 25-27. According to this, due to the formation of a new seasonal system in the Bay of Bengal in the coming days, there will be heavy rains in eastern Rajasthan from June 27.

Warning of very heavy rain in Himachal

The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘Orange Alert’ warning of heavy to very heavy rains at various places in Himachal Pradesh. The Meteorological Department said that the circumstances are favorable for moving the southwest monsoon in the remaining parts of Himachal Pradesh in the next two days. The monsoon knocked in the state on Friday.

How will the weather be in these districts of UP including Gorakhpur?

The intermittent rain has brought relief from the humid heat. Gorakhpur, Deoria and Kushinagar are also raining. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Gorakhpur, Deoria and Kushinagar even today. Apart from this, sporadic rain may occur throughout the week.

There is a possibility of heavy rains at different places in western Madhya Pradesh today. Apart from this, there is a possibility of continuing heavy to very heavy rain in many places in Madhya Pradesh till 27 June.

If we talk about Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, then till June 27, there is a possibility of a lot of rain at different places in Vidarbha on 25-26 June.

Boud rain in Surat, Gujarat

Due to heavy rains in Surat, Gujarat, life has been disturbed here. SDM Jigna Parmar said that the roads are submerged due to more than 100 mm of rain. 4-5 societies are submerged in the low-lying areas but have not reported any damage so far.
