‘Operation Sindoor’ will be discussed next week in House, debate will run for 16 hours

New Delhi: There will be 16 hours discussion in the House on Tuesday next week on Operation Sindoor. This is happening on the demand of opposition parties, who have demanded to organize a discussion session every week. Due to the absence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pahalgam could not be discussed yesterday i.e. Tuesday. Regarding this adjournment, the opposition said that it is not right to cancel the Business Advisory Committee meeting again and again. There will be a meeting of the House on Thursday, in which the outsider will be given a farewell to the outgoing MPs. Some opposition MPs also demanded a discussion to the Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar in the House, which the ruling party did not accept.

Discussion in the presence of PM Modi

The Opposition ‘Indian National Developmental Inquitian Alliance’ (India) constituent on Tuesday decided to pressurize the government for the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the House during the monsoon session of Parliament. The opposition coalition wants the Prime Minister Pahalgam to answer questions on terrorist attacks, Operation Sindoor, mediation of US President Donald Trump, special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Bihar and questions on some other major issues.

The decision was taken in a meeting of leaders of the houses of opposition parties in the Parliament House complex. The meeting was attended by Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge in the Rajya Sabha, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party’s Ram Gopal Yadav, DMK’s TR Balu and many other parties.

Three days of monsoon session

Let us know that the first three days of the monsoon session were quite ruckus. On the first day of the session, where the opposition parties demanded a discussion on ‘Operation Sindoor’, on the second and third day of the session, there was an attacker on the exercise to remove the names of voters from the voter list in Bihar. On Tuesday, opposition MPs staged a strong protest in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha over special intensive revision (SIR) of voter lists in Bihar. Congress, Samajwadi Party, DMK and members of other opposition parties demanded immediate discussion on the issue.
