The monsoon session of Parliament starts from July 21 and during this time a proposal for impeachment will be brought against Justice Yashwant Verma. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiran Rijiju informed that the House will run for a total of 21 days in the session lasting till 21 August. During this time, Operation Sindoor and Pahalgam terror attacks will also be discussed. The impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Verma will bring the government in the monsoon session of the Lok Sabha. The proposal has so far signed more than 100 MPs. 40 Congress MPs have signed the proposal, including Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi. According to sources, a quota was given to all the parties by the government and in that quota, the number of how many MPs can sign this proposal from that quota was decided. 40 MPs of the Congress party were to sign the proposal and all MPs have signed. All parties were signed and handed over to the Minister of State for Parliamentary.
There are signs of 100 MPs in Lok Sabha and 50 MPs in Rajya Sabha to bring impeachment. The Union Minister also informed that 100 MPs of the Lok Sabha have signed the impeachment motion.
40 leaders involved in all -party meeting
Kiran Rijiju said “40 people attended the meeting today. They gave their views. We have urged that this is the responsibility of all the House. Regarding the presence of PM Modi in the House, he said that the Prime Minister is always in the House. There are not only during the foreign tour or if there is any special. It is not a good thing to drag the PM all the time, during which the department is discussed, he is a minister during that time.
Pahalgam attack will be discussed as per rules
Regarding the discussion on Pahalgam attack and operation vermilion, the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs said, “We are ready to discuss all important topics. Whether it is Pahalgam attack or Operation Sindoor, but will be discussed as per rule. We have heard the suggestions of all the people of the opposition.” However, Donald Trump has claimed several times to stop the conflict between India and Pakistan. On the question of discussion on this, he said that there is no question of discussion in the House on the statement of foreign leaders.
