India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for a visit to Japan and China. Let us tell you that PM Modi will stay in Japan on 29 and 30 August and will attend the 15th India-Japan annual summit here. After this, PM Modi will be on a visit to China from 31 August to 1 September 2025. Here PM Modi will participate in the Sanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit. Before leaving for two countries, PM Modi has shared many important things about this journey by tweeting.

What will happen in Japan tour?

PM Modi tweeted on X and said- “In the next few days, I will be in Japan and China to participate in various bilateral and multilateral programs. In Japan, I will attend the 15th Annual India-Japan Summit Conference and talk with Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. During this time I will focus on deepening our special strategic and global partnerships. I will also visit a semiconductor factory in Sandai, where I will discuss the future dimensions of our cooperation in areas such as emerging technology, AI and semiconductor.

What will be special in China’s visit?

PM Modi said- “I will attend the Sanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin, China. This is a platform where India has always played an active and creative role. India will continue to work with SCO members to resolve various shared challenges. I will meet President Xi Jinping, President Putin and other leaders during the summit.”

PM Modi further said that “I am confident that my trips to Japan and China will carry forward our national interests and priorities, and will contribute to the creation of fruitful cooperation in furthering regional and global peace, security and sustainable development.”
