Prem Prakash, senior journalist and founder of ANI, has launched his new book “History That India Ignored”. In this book, those things related to India’s independence have been raised, which were said to be less in history. The book explains the struggles of revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, Veer Savarkar and Azad Hind Fauj in detail. The author believes that these fighters were often ignored or incorrectly shown in history. According to the book, independence was not only from non -violent movement, but also from the sacrifices of armed rebellions and revolutionaries. Prem Prakash ji says that this book gives history a chance to understand with a new look. On the occasion of this book launch, Author Sanjeev Chopra, Author Rashid Kidwai as well as Minister of State Doctor Jitendra Singh were also present.
Book is for those who know about freedom
Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh said about the book, “I have been invited a week ago, this is inspiration for us. I have read many such books. Prem Prakash ji has lived about India’s freedom and has written the book. This book is necessary for him which wants to read about India’s independence. The real fight for independence took place only after 1930. Bhagat Singh ji started fighting and in 1931 he was martyred from Congress. ” Prem Prakash ji wants to say that the voice of Subhash Chandra Bose and the growing common people became a major reason for independence.
Young generation should read history
After reading the book, the same question comes, why was history ignored? Prem Prakash ji said that the history we know has been talked about in the history, the rest of the people have not been talked about. Muslims were never in favor of breaking India. There were very big demonstrations in Delhi, they were charged with sticks. Gandhiji is as important as the young freedom fighters who sacrificed for the country. The Congress wanted a home rule. After the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh in 1931, the demand for complete freedom arose and the Quit India Moment also intensified. The heroic voice apologized that there is nothing like this, there is no truth in it. For 11 years, he remained in jail and he wrote a letter, so that he could come out and fight to free the country. It is very sad that people do not know their history, today’s young generation should read our history. (Input- Eela Kazmi)
