Second Monday of Sawan today, the influx of devotees gathered in temples across the country

The month of Sawan has started. This whole month is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Today is the second Monday of Sawan. Monday is considered more important in Sawan, people do fasting on this day with great pomp. In this month itself, people bring Kavand and offer Ganga water to Shiva.

Devotees gathered to visit temples across the country

Aarti of Lord Shiva was performed in the morning at Dudheshwar Mahadev Temple in Ghaziabad. This temple is quite ancient.

Devotees worshiped Lord Shiva on the second Monday of Sawan at Kshireshwar Mahadev Temple in Ayodhya.
