PM Modi tweeted a series of social media platforms. He wrote that today, one of the most dark chapters in India’s democratic history, has completed fifty years of implementation of Emergency. The people of India celebrate this day as Constitution Husbandry Day.

What did PM Modi say on the 50th anniversary of Emergency?

PM Modi wrote that when the Emergency was imposed, I was the young preacher of the RSS. The anti -emergency movement was an experience of learning for me. This reinforced the importance of preserving our democratic structure. Also, I got to learn a lot from all the people of political spectrum. This was their collective struggle that ensured that the then Congress government had to restore democracy and hold new elections, in which they lost badly.

BJP will celebrate ‘Constitution Husbandry Day’ across the country

At the same time, let us tell you that today on the occasion of 50th anniversary of Emergency, BJP is going to celebrate as ‘Constitution Husbandry Day’. Today, there will be a special program on the 50th anniversary of Emergency at Tyagraj Stadium in Delhi. During this time a black chapter in the history of Constitution Has 2025 Freedom will be organized by the Ministry of Culture. The program will include Home Minister Amit Shah, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

Misa prisoners will be special welcome

Through this program, BJP will give information about the black chapter of emergency to the new generation. It will also be told how the rights of common people were taken away.
