Mussoorie: There was chaos in the famous tourist destination of Uttarakhand, Campty Fall, when a snake suddenly came among hundreds of tourists who were bathing in the waterfall. The incident is being reported on Saturday afternoon. According to eyewitnesses, as soon as people saw the snake in the water, there was scream and people started running around after saving their lives. There was a huge crowd around the waterfall, which created an atmosphere of chaos for some time.

However, it is a matter of relief that no one was suffering any physical harm in this incident. Some people immediately reported this to the security personnel, who quickly controlled the situation and pacified the tourists.
The local administration said that the snake had come with the flow of water and was safely evacuated. He appealed to the tourists to take precautions at natural sites and inform the authorities immediately in any emergency.
Where is Campty Fall?
Kempti Fall is located on Chakrata Road, about 15 km from Mussoorie in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand. It is a famous tourist destination, where millions of tourists arrive every year. The beautiful waterfall here attracts tourists due to its natural beauty and calm environment. The panoramic view and cold water here is liked by tourists.
Its waterfall falls from a height of about 40 feet and there are green forests and mountains around it, which make it more attractive. Talking about the history of this place, the word “Kempty” came from the English word “Camp-Tea”, because the British used to organize tea party here during the British period.
The time between March to June and September to November gives more pleasure to those who roam here. During this time the weather is pleasant. The waterfall looks even more grand in the monsoon. This place is about 30 km from Dehradun railway station and tourists get all the options to reach here.
