Davangere: Vande Bharat Express (Train Number 20662) going from Dharwad to Bangalore had to be stopped on the middle way today. According to reports, the passengers of the train were then sent by other trains towards their destination. The train was stopped at Davangere station at around 3:30 pm on Friday afternoon. It is being told that a LC gatekeeper near Amravati Colony suddenly saw the problem of hot axle (hot axle) in the C4 coach of the train, after which this step was taken immediately. Keeping in mind the safety of the passengers, the train was stopped in Davangere and a thorough investigation was done.
Food and breakfast were provided to passengers
Railways immediately made alternative arrangements for the convenience of passengers and they were taken to their destination via other trains. Officials said 502 passengers aboard the train were sent to Bangalore from Jan Shatabdi Express (Train No. 12080) and Jodhpur Express (Train No. 16507). Keeping in mind that the passengers were not suffering, they were also provided food and breakfast at Arsikare station. In addition, help desks were made at Bangalore’s KSR Bangalore (SBC) and Yashwantpur (YPR) stations so that passengers could say their point if they had any problem.
Passengers will be refunded
Railways also ensured that the passengers traveling in alternative trains should be refunded. On reaching Bangalore, this refund process will be started. Railway officials provided all possible assistance and guidance to the passengers. South Western Railway regretted this inconvenience and appreciated the cooperation of the passengers. Railways said that the safety and convenience of passengers is their biggest priority. However, it was a matter of relief that the problem of Hot Excel was known in time and no major accident happened.
