5 people died in a painful road accident in Talpadi on the Karnataka-Kerala border, including a 10-year-old child and his mother. The accident occurred when the brakes of a bus of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) going from Kasargod to Mangaluru suddenly failed, after which the bus hit an auto-rickshaw at the bus stand.

10 -year -old child dies in accident

In the accident, auto-rickshaws flew away and all 5 people riding in it died on the spot. The dead include a 10-year-old child, besides his mother, two other women and auto-rickshaw driver. The dead have not yet been identified and their bodies have been kept in a private hospital in Manjswaram. The accident was so severe that two people waiting at the bus stand were also seriously injured. He is immediately admitted to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

Severe bus accident in Belagavi

In another news, two passengers died on the spot after a private bus overturned in Belagavi district of Karnataka late on Wednesday night, while many others suffered minor injuries. According to the police, the accident took place in the National Highway Ghat area near Badkolamath near Belgavi, when a private bus going from Hubbali to Pune overturned due to negligence of the driver.

There were a total of 12 passengers in the bus. A woman and a man lost their lives in the accident. After the accident, the police, with the help of local people, took out the injured and admitted them to the government hospital in Belagavi.
