A dramatic rescue operation was seen near the Commissioner’s Office at Embassy Apartment on Ali Asgar Road in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, where a drunken young man allegedly climbed a tree to steal jackfruit. When a security guard saw him and questioned him, the young man got nervous and fell dangerously from a twig in an attempt to escape.
Fall from a height of over 50 feet
Police and local people reached the spot and tried to save it with the help of tarpaulin. Despite his efforts, he fell from a height of more than 50 feet, causing serious injuries to his hip. The injured youth was immediately rushed to the Bovering Hospital by the police.
Elderly couple found dead in old age home
In another news, an elderly couple were found hanging from a noose at an old age home in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Police informed that Kimritaks have been identified as Krishnamurthy (81) and his wife Radha (74). Initial investigation has revealed suicide, although the police is investigating the incident from all aspects. Police said the couple had earlier lived in an old age home in Baitarayanpura in 2021, but returned to their son in 2023. He was recently sent to live at the old age home in JP Nagar, where the incident took place. According to the police, a case has been registered and investigation is being done.
