New Delhi: The name of Khalistani terrorist Harjit Singh ‘Ladi’ is coming out in the case of firing in restaurant Kapas café of comedian Kapil Sharma in Canada. Allegedly Harjit Singh alias Ladi has taken responsibility for the attack. Since then, Indian intelligence agencies have been on high alert.
Who is Harjeet Singh ‘Ladi’?
- Harjeet Singh ‘Ladi’ is a prominent member of the banned Khalistani terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).
- Ladi is considered an important person in the group’s foreign coordination network and is believed to have played an important role in the financing, recruitment and direction of terrorist campaigns in India, especially in Punjab.
- Ladi is accused of being the mastermind of several murders, including the murder of VHP leader Vikas Prabhakar in April 2024. His name has also been revealed in attacks on right -wing leaders.

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) said that it took action on a call from a business establishment at 1:50 pm local time on Wednesday. According to reports, Kapil Sharma’s Cup Cafe was attacked. There is no response from Kapil’s team yet.
